Sustainability

The demand for sustainable energy sources has increased significantly in recent years.
With our philosophy “Green to Green, Green to Grow, Green to Great”, we support the goal of CO2-free energy generation. This is where our new DeepBlue 4.0 Pro module series makes an important contribution. We attach great importance to fair and environmentally friendly production conditions. We are working with our partners to establish a green supply chain. We also support sustainable initiatives such as the Global Sustainable Markets Initiative and the Zero Carbon Development Initiative of the UN Climate Change Conference.

Projects

lens Sonnenfeld, Bruck/Leitha

Sonnenfeld, Bruck/Leitha

30MW

The 5.5-hectare agrivoltaic plant in Bruck an der Leitha, Austria, uses “sun catchers” to maximise energy yield and optimise grid stability. The system consists of movable PV modules that track the sun and thus optimise electricity production. At the same time, the use of space is minimised.

lens Metro Logitics, Marl

Metro Logitics, Marl

18MW

Metro has commissioned one of the largest photovoltaic roof systems in Germany to date at the Marl logistics centre in North Rhine-Westphalia. Not only does it produce enough solar power for its own needs, it also feeds surpluses into the local power grid.

lens Tuquan Xinsheng, China

Tuquan Xinsheng, China

300MW

With the Tuquan Xinsheng project, we have created a green PV oasis in the Chinese Gobi Desert that generates clean energy, combats desertification and saves around 300,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions every year.
